Rockin' Baby Bed

Mawok

Nothing like a new baby product to get me thinking about number 2!  Ok, not quite yet, but isn't this a beautiful concept.? I actually think the Wild Man might have liked this as a baby.  He was super colicy and liked the movement of the sling.  Maybe this would have had a similar feel.  And besides, it's just lovely to have around!  I love the door mount idea but you can also install it on a wall.  It's portable and practical.  It's called Mawok and it's made by Swedish company Mony Inc.  Order online at the Mawok website.

Get Cookin'

Garnethill_kitchen

This kid's kitchen from Garnet Hill is one of the nicest I've seen.  The design is very nice and I love the color choices.  Totally hip and cool.....yet it looks quite functional too.  The Wild Man is a bit young now, but maybe in a couple years.

Foamtastic

Offi_eva

The perfect table and chair set for the Wild Man?  I'm thinking about it......boy do I love Offi's Eva Foam furniture.  To complete the set (of course I want the COMPLETE set) you can buy the table, 2 chairs, and 2 stools.  It's light yet super strong (each piece can hold 300 lb.!) and easy to stack.  I think this looks like loads of fun....not just for sitting at the table, but for building and climbing around.  If you are an Eebee fan, you will have seen these stools throughout all the videos.  They come in blue/green and orange/red and they're available at many different online retailers.

Funny Name, Awesome Products

Fagus_unimog

Lately I've been drooling over beautiful Waldorf toys and trying to decide what to get the Wild Man for Christmas.  I love the Fagus products and company concept.  Fagus toys are made by handicapped people in the company workshop in Bocholt, Germany, near the Holland border.  All the toys are made from beechwood and constructed with interlocking parts, dowels, and glue (no nails, staples or screws).  The truck above is called Unimog and it's for kids 3+.  I think I'll wait another year for this one but I'm planning to order the wooden van below for Theo (for age 2+).  I'm so psyched to have a beautiful Fagus toy around....Merry Christmas to me!

More Toasty Booties

Kina_brown_booties

Ahhhhhhhh.......don't these look super comfy?  I really like these lambskin booties from Kina Collection because of the furry insides.  They seem perfect for wearing without socks....and they come in infant through toddler sizes.....and lots of color options.  They are handcrafted in New Zealand and available on the Kina website.

Classic Beauty

Pepe_eliasgrace

There is something lovely about these classic mary janes by Pepe.  Sometimes I wonder why they don't sell shoes like these everywhere!  The gummi soles look comfortable and the design and details are minimal and beautiful too.  They are called the Jersey Shoe and they are available from Elias and Grace in the UK.

Awesome Appliques

Morfsbrand_sesamestreet

I love the wild graphic interpretation of the Sesame Street characters on these t-shirts by Morfs Brand.  They can be found at very chic retailers or right on their website.  Morfs Brand has all sorts of awesome t-shirts as well as denim pieces with the same funky yet sophisticated appliques.  This post was sponsored by the Letter M!

Royally Awesome

Royal_copenhagen

Royal Copenhagen, famous Danish porcelain and home brand collaborated with illustrator Shane Brox to create the fanciful plates and bowls above.  They are accompanied by a book written and illustrated by Brox about granny's porcelain figurines coming to life.  A wonderful keepsake collection.

H&M: Always Awesome

Hm_fall09

I'm just sticking this post in to remind you (and myself) that H&M has awesome clothes for kids.  I was just in there last week and I was blown away by some of the adorable striped t-shirts and jackets.  The style is great, the prices are great.....so track down your nearby H&M Kids store and have a look.  I also love this photo shoot in Iceland.  Great combination of boots and twirly skirts against the austere yet beautiful Icelandic landscape.

Chic at Gap Kids

Gap_stella

I'm intrigued by the new Stella McCartney Collection for Gap Kids.  I can't wait to look at it up close.  But from afar it looks pretty nice.  I love the boots, the raincoats, and that fluffly skirt.  Definitely SUPER chic!
